In an upcoming episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show,’ the Deol family continues their tradition of being open and honest when discussing their personal lives in public.

On Tuesday, Netflix unveiled a teaser for the episode featuring the renowned actor siblings Sunny and Bobby Deol.

In the video, Sunny became emotional as he talked about 2023, a year of unprecedented success for the Deol family.
As Dharmendra captivated audiences in Karan Johar’s popular film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani,’ Sunny and Bobby experienced a resurgence in their careers with the success of ‘Gadar 2’ and the overwhelming reception to ‘Animal.’

“1960s se hum log limelight me hain, lekin kai sal hogaye, aise hi koshish kar rahe the (We have been in the limelight since the 60s but we have been trying for years) things were not working out.” Speaking of the good times, Sunny stated, “My son got married, then Gadar (2) was released, before that even dad’s film got released (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani) and we couldn’t believe how we got so blessed.”

Bobby also became emotional during the conversation, shedding tears. The episode seems to focus heavily on their close bond, with Bobby affectionately referring to Sunny as “Superman” in the clip.
“Even in real life, if someone is strong like Superman, it’s bhaiya.” Additionally, he stated in the video that, “Deols are romantic.”

Last year, Bobby and Sunny also featured on ‘Koffee with Karan,’ where they extensively discussed their journey.

Sharing openly about his break from acting, the actor, Bobby stated, “I gave up. I started pitying myself and just took up drinking a lot. I was just sitting at home and I used to keep cursing and saying ‘Why don’t people take me? I am good.’ I think I became so negative about everything. I used to sit at home, my wife works. And suddenly I heard my son speaking ‘Mom, papa sits at home and you go to work every day.’ And then something snapped in me and I said ‘No, I can’t.”

Bobby stressed that he recognized the personal responsibility to bounce back and acknowledged that success doesn’t come overnight, despite the support of his sister, father Dharmendra, and brother Sunny.
