BSF finds China-Made Drone in Punjab’s Tarn Taran

The Border Security Force (BSF) in collaboration with the Punjab Police discovered a drone in the border region of Tarn Taran district, officials reported on Friday.

According to an official BSF release, “Based on information on April 25, 2024, BSF intelligence set up about the presence of a drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district, a joint search operation by BSF troops with Punjab Police was conducted in the suspected area.”

The identified drone retrieved is a DJI Matrice 300 RTK manufactured in China.

“During the search operation, at about 10.15 pm, troops successfully recovered one drone in broken condition from a farming field adjacent to village Khemkaran in Tarn Taran District,” said the release.

The statement added that through the combined efforts of the BSF and Punjab police, reliable intelligence led to the successful recovery of another unauthorized drone from across the border.

Previously on Wednesday, the BSF in conjunction with the Punjab Police found a drone in a farming field near Khemkaran village in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district. The retrieved drone was identified as a DJI Mavic 3 Classic made in China.
