Sunny Deol to Allu Arjun, greeted and wished everyone “Eid Mubarak”

The world observed Eid-ul-Fitr on April 11, the conclusion of the sacred month of Ramadan. Celebrities, ranging from Bobby Deol to Allu Arjun, greeted and wished everyone a happy and auspicious day on social media.

The first day of Shawwal, the tenth month in the Islamic lunar calendar, is when Eid ul-Fitr is observed. The moon sighting, which has long been a part of Islamic culture, makes the celebration extremely significant. Prophet Muhammad is said to have waited for reports of crescent moon sightings since they heralded the start of a new month.
