The transition to lightweight and breathable fabrics demonstrates a considerate approach to ensuring the deity’s comfort in the upcoming hot months. Ram Lalla, a venerated idol standing 51 inches tall and representing the young Lord Rama, also known as “Balak Ram,” is crafted from a unique three-billion-year-old black stone by the talented artisan Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony for the divine idol was conducted on January 22, 2024. In preparation for the forthcoming Ram Navami celebrations, the administration of the Hanumangarhi temple convened on Friday to plan for the accommodation of devotees, according to temple officials.

The district administration and the police of Ayodhya were present at the meeting as well. they said. “The officials discussed provisions for drinking water and arrangements with special attention to the provision of toilets to ensure that devotees’ feet do not burn in the summer heat.”

The Hanumangarhi temple administration convened a meeting following incidents where several devotees fainted due to the heat and insufficient water supply.

The meeting was attended by the esteemed saints of Hanumangarh, National President of Sankat Mochan Sena Sanjay Das, Ayodhya Mayor Girishpati Tripathi, the Circle Officer of Ayodhya, senior police officers, and officials from the Municipal Corporation. The police administration and the Mayor of Ayodhya have guaranteed that visitors will encounter no difficulties and that comprehensive arrangements will be made to facilitate the devotees during Ram Navami.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of devotees continue to flock to Ayodhya following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla. The daily visitation to the Hanumangarhi Ram Temple is on the rise, with an ever-increasing number of pilgrims.
