Telangana: Amit Shah Likely to Address BJP Booth Leaders on March 12

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to visit Telangana on March 12, where he will convene a meeting with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s booth committee president and other party officials. The purpose of the meeting is to offer guidance to the party’s leaders and workers in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The meeting, likely to be held at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, will see the Home Minister briefing leaders on the election strategies to be employed.

Amit Shah is expected to direct leaders to mobilize voters at each booth. Furthermore, during the event, he will update the public on the development and welfare initiatives undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government over the last decade. Additionally, he will urge the public to re-elect PM Modi to office.

The BJP is devising tactics to secure additional seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state. The party’s senior leaders have already directed their attention towards Telangana. Recently, the BJP conducted Victory Mission tours across 17 parliamentary constituencies in the region.

The BJP has already revealed its candidates for nine of the 17 parliamentary constituencies in Telangana ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This week, PM Modi further uplifted the spirits of BJP workers by addressing rallies during his visit to the states.

On March 2, the BJP unveiled its initial roster of 195 candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will seek re-election to the Lok Sabha from Varanasi. Among the 195 candidates, 34 are ministers from both the central and state governments, with two former chief ministers also included in the list.

During the 2019 elections, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured a total of 303 seats, surpassing the grand-old party, which obtained 52 seats. The Lok Sabha polls are expected to be held in April-May this year.
