Serious political discussions only at BJP meets: Nadda

Echoing the slogan “370 hum par karegey” (We will cross over the 370 Lok Sabha seat mark), Bharatiya Janata Party national President JP Nadda said that the BJP is the only party where “serious political discussions are held on such a big platform.”
He was speaking on the second day of the party’s two-day National Convention 2024, being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
Addressing party supporters and leaders, Nadda said, “I want to assure Prime Minister Narendra Modi… I want to assure him of your strength…that the proposals given by the PM will be implemented at the ground level. And we will cross the 370 (Lok Sabha seat mark). We are going to acheive this objective .”
“It is easier said than done. The BJP is the single political party where serious political discussions are held at such a big convention. We only see it in the BJP,” he added.
During his addresses, he alleged that the opposition “failed to play the role of opposition in the last ten years.”
The BJP is holding a two-day convention here as part of its preparations for the Lok Sabha polls.
On the second day of the Convention, Home Minister Amit Shah proposed a second political resolution named “‘BJP’ Desh Ki Aasha, Vipaksh Ki Hatasha”, mainly focused on the opposition’s INDIA bloc. The political resolution was presented by Amit Shah, and it was seconded by Union Minister Arjun Munda.
Earlier, on the inaugural day of the national convention on Saturday, the BJP passed a significant political resolution titled ‘Viksit Bharat’, highlighting the achievements of the Centre under Prime Minister Modi. It added that the BJP would return for a third term at the Centre and carry forward its roadmap for holistic development and welfare.
