In protest against the rape and atrocities against Hindu women in Sandeshkhali (Wasirhat), West Bengal, BJP Mahila Morcha on Wednesday protested by burning the effigy of Mamata Banerjee at Chhoti Chowpar.
Morcha’s national vice president and West Bengal in-charge Pooja Kapil Mishra said, “Atrocities against Hindu women are increasing day by day in Bengal. Their wives are taken from their homes in front of their husbands. TMC goons are torturing and raping Hindu women.”
She added, “They are forcibly taken hostage and exploited. But the Mamata government does not take any action. When BJP Mahila Morcha raises the voice of these women, then Mamata government forcibly puts those women in jail.”
