After an 11-year journey together, Esha and Bharat have jointly decided to pursue separate paths.  In a shared statement, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani conveyed, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children are and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected.”

Reflecting on their romantic journey, Esha and Bharat initially encountered each other during an inter-school competition while attending different schools. Recalling their love story, Esha recounted, “I was in Jamnabai Narsee School, and Bharat was studying at Learner’s Academy in Bandra. That was one school that had good-looking boys in Bandra. We met at the inter-school competition called Cascade which was hosted by my school.”

Esha shared that she wrote her phone number on a piece of tissue and handed it to Bharat. Despite having braces at the time, she remembered that he genuinely admired her with braces on and found her cute. Their communication was challenging, marked by innocence and admiration. As she embarked on her professional career at 18, they lost touch during college. However, they reconnected a decade later, reigniting their romance.

Esha Deol has graced the silver screen in films like “Na Tum Jaano Na Hum,” “Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa,” “Hijack,” and “Pyare Mohan,” among others. Her entry into the OTT space occurred with Ajay Devgn’s “Rudra: The Edge of Darkness.”
