Five tips to find your perfect Homestay
We had experienced confining to our homes for quite some time, working in the same environment. Times have changed and people have realized the importance of exploring places and culture. It’s now the perfect opportunity for us to pause, glance outdoors, connect with nature, and refresh ourselves!
If you’re considering a Work From Homestay, a short getaway, or an extended vacation, you probably want a comfortable place to stay that feels like home, rather than settling for an unremarkable hotel room with generic service and artificial friendliness. Before you consider booking a homestay, it’s essential to take note of some important factors.

Here are 5 aspects that help you find your ideal homestay:

1. Find Hosts Based on Your Interests
To begin with, it’s important to clearly understand what you desire from your Homestay. If you’re looking to relax by the seaside, explore the depths of the jungle, or enjoy the tranquillity of a mountaintop overlooking a serene valley, consider booking homestays in those specific areas. Search for hosts who share your interests. For instance, look for hosts who are open to accommodating your dietary preferences, especially if you’re a non-vegetarian, or those who are pet-friendly if you wish to bring your furry friend along.

2. Features to Consider
Ensure that the place you’re selecting for your stay has everything you need, such as air conditioning, continuous electricity and water supply, and a fast Wi-Fi connection for your work or entertainment. Additionally, ideal accommodations should be conveniently located to your current whereabouts and should be closer to the places where you plan to visit. Also, check the transportation options available to reach nearby attractions you wish to explore.

3. Pleasant Interiors and Amenities
When you see a homestay adorned with art like paintings, statues, or shrub sculptures, it reveals numerous tales. If you’re looking for a homestay on the internet, ensure there are appealing pictures of the home interior, rooms, bathrooms, and/or shared spaces. A homestay should provide essential amenities like giving access to kitchen facilities for homemade meals, daily cleaning service that helps keep your space sparkling clean, etc. or sharing some unique experience with guests so that they can take back good memories.

4. Booking Online
Ensure that the host provides you the option to book online using your preferred payment method. This gives them more credibility and rely on modern day practices in booking that ensures smooth check in process to guests. Also, while booking any homestay you should carefully check the details of the property, cancellation policies, security deposit and charges. This will help the guests to keep things in check well in advance.
