Dr. B. Narayan, Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, has been selected to participate in the Young Scientist Conference (YASC), India International. The conference, part of the Science Festival (Vigyan Mela) 2023 and the 9th India International Science Festival 2023, was held from January 17 to 20, 2024. The event was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Space, and Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India, in partnership with the Indian Science (VIBHA). During the program, Dr. Narayan delivered a landmark presentation/exhibition titled “Pencil Assist and Pencil Policy Model for the Future Use of Cycles in Sustainable Green Cities and Indian Urban Areas for Achieving SDG-2030 Goals.” His significant contribution received accolades from the entire PEC family.
The Young Scientist Conference operates as a dynamic platform that brings together young professionals under the age of 45 from universities, research institutes, postdocs, education scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators. The conference has drawn from diverse backgrounds, including research and development laboratories, artists, and collaborators.
