A Bicycle Rally of more than 50 participants dedicated to raising awareness about drug abuse and promoting drug prevention was organised by VADA Club of GCCBA-50 on 2nd Feb., 2024 starting from College Campusto Sector-42 Lake.
Nukkad Natak was performed by eight student volunteers in front of rally participants, students, teaching and non-teaching staff and families of workers working in a nearby construction site followed by pledge taking against drug abuse and then the Rally was flagged off by Principal Dr.Sangam Kapoor who addressed the gathering by saying that these kinds of events help to underscore the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle as a natural and positive alternative to drug use.
For the safety and security of participants police personnel were deployed to assist in managing traffic and controlling intersections. The students reached the destination in the vibrant colors along with white caps and placards aninteractive activities were organized at the concluding point of the rally to engage participants in discussions about drug awareness and prevention and again Nukkad Natak was performed in front of the gathering. Students were given refreshments when they reached college. Ms Sandeep, convenor VADA Club congratulated the participants and said that the success of this event lays the groundwork for ongoing initiatives focused on promoting well-being and preventing substance abuse within the community
