In anticipation of Republic Day celebrations, security arrangements have been significantly heightened under the directives of DCP Sumer Pratap Singh. Various police teams have been deployed to conduct thorough checks at multiple locations, and a specialized team is actively investigating hotels and Dharamshalas.

As part of the security measures, special blockades have been established during the night, with a focused effort to closely monitor individuals arousing suspicion. DCP Sumer Pratap Singh has made a public appeal, urging residents to promptly report any sightings of suspicious persons to the police.

In the event of discovering any suspicious objects, the public is advised not to tamper with them but rather to immediately inform the police. Emphasizing the importance of community cooperation, DCP Sumer Pratap Singh highlighted the need for collective vigilance during these crucial times.

With Republic Day approaching, instructions have been issued to all police stations and outpost in-charges to be present in their respective areas and conduct patrolling. DCP Sumer Pratap Singh emphasized that police surveillance and investigative efforts have been intensified at nine border points adjacent to Panchkula, ensuring a comprehensive approach to security measures.
