The Media Secretary of the Chief Minister, Praveen Atri, continues to express candid opinions on the government’s functioning. He stated that Selja might be talking about the internal struggles within her party. Meanwhile, In-charge Deepak Babaria cautions party workers in a letter not to waste their energy attending Selja’s programs. It seems natural that Selja is facing internal struggles as the current state of the Congress party indicates turmoil. The political atmosphere in the Congress is such that it is grappling with internal conflicts. The reality is that the political existence of the Congress is almost dead, and by 2024, Congress will likely cease to exist.
Atri responded to Hooda being summoned by the ED, stating that the matter pertains to financial irregularities. When Hooda was the Chief Minister, he had 1200 crores worth of land in Manesar-Gurugram, of which, instead of utilizing for the benefit of farmers, 80 crores were handed over to builders. This is a case of financial irregularities amounting to 1200 crores. The agencies are doing their job, and the law is taking its course. Atri emphasized that anyone involved in corruption, regardless of their stature, will face legal consequences.
The agencies are investigating the case of land fraud that arose from a complaint by the local village head. The CBI, based on court orders, initiated an inquiry, and when the ED discovered the financial irregularities, they began their investigation. Atri dismissed the notion that the government is involved in this; corruption, land looting in the name of CLU, and financial irregularities amounting to 1200 crores are being investigated, and the law will take its course. He criticized the agencies for their actions and mentioned that three summons were sent, but Arvind Kejriwal did not appear. If he doesn’t respond to the next one, the ED will follow the next legal process. Whatever legal proceedings come up will be known to all. Regarding Tanwar joining the BJP, Atri said that Ashok Tanwar is a mature senior leader, and his welcome is acknowledged. Tanwar resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party in a way that indicates his dedication to serving the people. His decision to join the BJP seems to be driven by the desire for a better platform to serve the public.
Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s praise for the Chief Minister of Haryana, Atri stated that the Prime Minister often appreciates the work style of Chief Minister Manohar Lal. Whenever topics related to Haryana government’s schemes arise, the Prime Minister publicly praises the Chief Minister. Even the Home Minister has publicly appreciated Chief Minister Manohar Lal. The efforts have been made to ensure the benefits of government schemes, whether central or state, reach the last person in the line for development. Therefore, it is natural that the Prime Minister appreciates his work style.
