A case of robbers attacking a migrant man at a dhaba and looting his mobile phone and cash has come to light in village Saidpura on Derabassi Barwala Road. The robbers committed the robbery by attacking the migrant with sticks. Police have started investigating the matter after receiving the complaint.
According to the information received, in the complaint given to the police, Pramod Kumar, son of Ram Naresh and resident of Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, mentioned that he has been running a dhaba in Saidpura for a long time, and no such incident had ever happened to him before. He stated that on January 11, at around 8 pm, three masked individuals arrived at his dhaba on a motorcycle and began inquiring about the dinner preparations. Suddenly, one person put his hand in his pocket. When he protested, another person injured him by hitting him on the head with a stick, snatched his mobile phone and purse, and fled from the spot.
When he attempted to note down the motorcycle’s number, only the number was visible, as the plate was missing. He managed to escape. The robbed purse contained Rs 5500 in cash. In his injured condition, local people took him to the doctor for treatment, where he received 8 stitches in his head. After receiving the complaint, the police visited the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
