Haryana has initiated recruitment for employment opportunities in Israel, with a 15-member team from Israel arriving in India for this purpose. The recruitment campaign in Haryana is underway from January 16 to 20. As part of this initiative, the Israeli government is offering a monthly salary of Rs 1.37 lakh, along with health insurance, food, accommodation, and a monthly bonus of Rs 16,515 to the selected local youth.
It is noteworthy that Israel has canceled the work permits of Palestinians and is seeking Indian workers to fill vacant positions in industries. Similar recruitment campaigns will also be conducted in Uttar Pradesh (UP) from January 23 to 31, targeting 13,294 posts under HKRN. This initiative to provide jobs abroad is facilitated through the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation (HKRN). The demand from Indian youth spans 13,294 posts across 7 countries. Post details, qualifications, and salaries have been made public for interested youth to register on the HKRN website.
The corporation itself is preparing to send interested youth abroad. Currently, the Foreign Cooperation Department of Haryana and central agencies are collaborating on this effort. Additionally, HKRN is in the process of obtaining a license. Seven countries have submitted demands for the youth of Haryana, including the UK, Israel, Finland, Japan, Uzbekistan, UAE, and Russia.
For instance, the UK has a requirement for 2,500 healthcare nurses with specific qualifications and benefits. Similarly, Israel needs 10,000 construction workers with specified qualifications and salary details. Other countries like Finland, Japan, Uzbekistan, and the UAE have various demands for different job roles.
Unfortunately, Haryana’s youth seeking jobs abroad are currently resorting to illegal means, leading to exploitation and fraud. Haryana Police is actively cracking down on such illegal activities.
To address this issue, the corporation has initiated the process of obtaining the necessary license for sending youth abroad. Once this license is obtained, the corporation will begin sending interested youth, aiming to protect them from falling victim to fraud.
