This gesture from Shweta Singh Kirti comes in response to statements made by Ankita Lokhande’s mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, who alleged in an interview that Ankita frequently mentions Sushant Singh Rajput on the show Bigg Boss 17 to “gain sympathy.” Shweta’s expression of love for Ankita reflects a desire to maintain a positive and supportive connection with Sushant’s past associations.

Addressing the ongoing discussions, Ankita Lokhande’s mother, Vandana Lokhande, emphasized that Ankita continues to maintain contact with Sushant’s family. She stated, “Ankita and Sushant lived together for seven years in this house with me. She truly loved him. Ankita never talked about Sushant on her own. One time Munawar asked her about him, and then Abhishek asked her. And she has always said good things about Sushant. I am very proud of that. She talks with Shweta; Rani Di calls her, and she even talks to his father.”

Ankita Lokhande’s relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput garnered public attention during their time together on the television series Pavitra Rishta. The actor was found dead at his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, leaving behind a void in the entertainment industry.
