Haryana Chief Secretary, Sanjeev Kaushal, has directed officers to swiftly process applications under the Mukhymantri Shehri Nikay Swamitva Yojana and grant ownership rights to occupants of shops and houses built on government land for 20 years. This applies to land owned by departments, boards, municipal corporations, nagar parishads and municipalities. He was presided over a review meeting here in this regard. It was informed in the meeting that State Nodal Officers (SNO) have been designated by Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Printing and Stationery Department, Public Health Engineering, Haryana Shari Vikas Pradhikarn and Revenue and Disaster Department. The Chief Secretary directed that the Directors or Director Generals of the remaining departments will be the State Nodal Officers in this regard, as they have delayed in designated SNOs.

Kaushal said that the Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department will hold regular meetings with all the concerned departments in this regard and will send their report to the Chief Secretary office. Apart from this, they will also examine all the cases canceled and inform whether the cancellation was justified or not..

Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture Department, Sudhir Rajpal, Additional Chief Secretary Urban Local Bodies Department, Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Vikas Gupta, and other senior officers attended the meeting.
