In Narnaul, Haryana, the team of District Town Planner Narnaul carried out a demolition action on Monday in an illegal colony being developed on about 2.5 acres of land behind KLP School in the urban area of Narnaul. The illegal colony was being built by some individuals in Revenue Estate Niwaznagar on about 2.5 acres of land without obtaining a license and permission from the Director General of the Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana, Chandigarh.
A road network was also being laid there, which was demolished with the help of the district administration. In this action, all the unpaved roads, along with boundary walls and 5 DPCs, were uprooted at four places. The entire action was taken under the leadership of District Town Planner Narnaul, along with staff members in the presence of a heavy police force.
District Town Planner Mandeep Singh Sihag has appealed to the people that no construction should be done in controlled and urban areas without departmental permission. Agricultural land should be used for residential or commercial purposes only after obtaining a license and permission from the Director General of the Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana, Chandigarh. Otherwise, departmental action will be taken against defaulters.
For this reason, the general public is repeatedly appealed to not buy any plot in any illegal colony under the influence of property dealers, nor to engage in any illegal construction. Furthermore, before purchasing any plot, individuals can inquire about the validity of the colony and obtain permission as per rules before construction from the District Town Planner Office, Narnaul, on any working day.
