The first meeting of the Rajasthan Youth Congress executive committee took place today due to discussions arising from their posters and banners. Another message from this meeting is that the situation in the Rajasthan Congress is the same as it was before the assembly elections.
This means that even after the defeat, there has been no reduction in internal conflicts and groupism. Despite all the efforts, the internal tug-of-war continues. The impact of this was such that Congress’s top leader Rahul Gandhi was missing from the posters, unlike other leaders, including present state president Govind Singh Dotasara and former president Sachin Pilot.
Although the posters featured photos of national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Dotasara, and other leaders, Rahul was absent. After the departure of the main leaders from the meeting, the banners and posters were removed.
The meeting was convened by Youth Congress President Abhimanyu Singh Poonia. Abhimanyu is considered close to Sachin Pilot. Due to his efforts, he got a ticket for the assembly and won the election. Abhimanyu focused entirely on Sachin Pilot in today’s program and expressed his full faith in him. In a way, Sachin overshadowed the program.
The former Deputy Chief Minister tried to convey that although he has been made the charge of Chhattisgarh by the central leadership, his position in state politics will remain unchanged. State president Dotasara also attended the program, but Sachin left before his speech.
On this occasion, MLA Roopendra Singh Kunwar, who won the by-election from Shri Karanpur, was also honoured. In today’s program, questions and answers were there, including making Rahul’s justice journey successful, on issues like Ram Mandir, but the real purpose was to show strength.
If this situation persists among the leaders, it will not only reduce but also increase the difficulties for Congress in Rajasthan. For the BJP, the paths to the upcoming elections will be smoother. In the assembly elections, the BJP defeated the internal conflicts of Congress properly.
State President Govind Singh Dotasara, while talking to journalists here today, targeted the BJP, saying, “This is the government with parchis that the public rejected in the elections held in Karanpur. After the victory in Karanpur, Congress workers are excited all over the state. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the I.N.D.I.A alliance will form the government in the country and remove the NDA from power.”
Responding to the question regarding the leader of the opposition, Dotasara said, “The government has to work as soon as it wins the elections, but the opposition’s job is to raise the issues of the common people in the assembly. In this regard, before the start of the assembly session on January 19, the selection of the opposition leader will take place.”
