13,294 youths to be sent abroad: Emphasis on legitimate means and skill development

4,000 youths from Haryana will go to Israel after their job applications are accepted. The government will provide vocational training at Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak for these youths. They will receive a salary of Rs 1.37 lakh. The government plans to send the youth to Israel through legal means. Following the success of the first phase, the government will release vacancies for a second phase, confirmed by Chief Minister Manohar Lal. The responsibility of sending these youths abroad lies with the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation (HKRN).

Demand has come from Indian youth for 13,294 posts in seven countries in Haryana. The posts, qualifications, and salaries have been made public for interested youth to register. HKRN will send these youths abroad, and the Foreign Cooperation Department of Haryana and Central agencies will collaborate on this. HKRN is in the process of obtaining a license, likely to be completed soon.

Currently, Haryana youths seeking jobs abroad often face illegal channels, leading to fraudulent activities. Haryana Police is cracking down on such fraudsters. The corporation is obtaining the necessary license to send youths abroad, aiming to protect them from fraud.

Seven countries, including the UK, have demands from Haryana youth. The UK needs 2,500 healthcare nurses with a salary of 28,000 to 29,000 pounds per year. Qualifications include B.Sc Nursing, GNM, one year of experience, and IELTS. Age should be below 45 years, and the company provides medical insurance and free accommodation for the first two months.

Similarly, Israel has a demand for 10,000 construction workers with skills in framework, shuttering, carpentry, plastering, ceramic tile, and yarn bedding. The salary is Rs 1,37,000 per month, requiring a tenth pass, three years of experience, and an age range of 25 to 45 years. Overtime will also be available.

Apart from the UK and Israel, Finland needs 50 healthcare caregivers with a salary of around Rs 1.90 lakh per month. Japan requires 20 restaurant staff in the hospitality sector with a monthly salary of 2.40 lakh yen. Uzbekistan needs 100 structural fitters, fabricators, 100 assistant structural fitters, 100 structural supervisors, and 50 bandsaw cutting machine operators. The UAE requires 200 heavy bus drivers, 95 light bus drivers, 50 female housekeeping attendants, 20 female cleaners, and 13 female resident technicians.
