Special arrangements are in progress in Jaipur, often referred to as Chhoti Kashi, to ensure the grandeur of the upcoming Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Ramlala in Ayodhya. The Municipal Corporation Greater is overseeing Ramotsav, and dedicated teams are conducting cleanliness campaigns to enhance the city’s beauty.
On the second day of Ramotsav, Dr Soumya Gurjar, the Mayor of Municipal Corporation Greater, initiated the day at 9 am by visiting the Sanga Baba Temple. Following prayers, the Mayor actively participated in cleaning the temple premises. Subsequently, she extended the cleaning efforts to Tripolia Hanuman Temple, Gurudwara, Digambar Jain Temple, and various other religious sites.
Dr Gurjar, along with devotees, engaged in Rambhajan during the cleaning campaign and even created rangoli on the temple premises. She urged the public to celebrate Deepotsav at all religious places on January 22, illuminating Jaipur akin to Ayodhya. Over 20 religious sites were cleaned on Wednesday.
Expressing joy over Ramlala’s Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, Mayor Soumya Gurjar stated that Jaipur’s residents would illuminate the city with lamps resembling the festivities in Ayodhya. On the third day of Ramotsav, parks, main intersections, and areas across the Municipal Corporation Greater will undergo thorough cleaning.
