The Sri Muktsar Sahib district police’s Mobile Wing performed thorough inspections today at Danaula Chowk in Malout. They carried out searches for suspicious persons and issued penalties to drivers who violated traffic regulations during the operation.

The search for suspicious individuals was conducted, and fines were imposed on drivers violating traffic rules. DSP Malout Fateh Singh Barad revealed that under the guidance of the senior police captain of Sri Muktsar Sahib, Bhagirath Singh Meena, a thorough inspection was carried out under the leadership of Inspector Jaskarandeep Singh in Malout city today. He emphasized that it’s the police’s responsibility to uphold law and order, ensuring the safety of lives and property, especially as the new year approaches.

Various programs prompted the police to intensify their checking and barricading campaigns. The aim is to keep a close watch on undesirable elements. He mentioned that the district’s mobile wing has unexpectedly intensified checking under checkpoints. Consequently, inspections of vehicles and suspicious individuals are underway in Malout today.

During this operation, the police will detain those involved in wrongful activities and suspicious behavior for questioning. Moreover, fines will be issued to drivers violating traffic rules. He extended New Year’s greetings to the residents and urged everyone to maintain law and order. He emphasized the need for complete support from people for the anti-drug campaign.
