In the Gurugram Municipal Corporation area, nearly 1,700 employees, who had returned to work after the ongoing strike for several days, have joined the strike again in the last two days. The Gurugram Municipal Corporation is preparing to terminate the jobs of these employees and their supervisors who are participating in the strike. Notably, in compliance with government directives, the corporation strictly adheres to the ‘No Work, No Pay’ principle.

Only those employees engaged in their duties will receive salaries. Employees participating in the strike instead of their duties will not be compensated in any form. Furthermore, action will be taken against supervisors who are preventing employees from working and forcibly involving them in the strike.

The corporation has taken a firm stance in line with government instructions, ensuring adherence to work ethics. The initiative underscores that salaries will solely be disbursed to those diligently performing their duties. The administration plans to take strict action against both non-performing employees and their supervisors responsible for coercing employees into the ongoing strike.
