The administration’s campaign concerning cities is currently in a state of confusion. While the JDA has imposed a ban on issuing new plots, the Heritage Municipal Corporation is actively working on plot allotments. Although the JDA has only given verbal orders against issuing new plots, according to insiders, specific directives have yet to be received from the government regarding the ongoing city campaign.
The JDA administration has verbally ordered all zone commissioners to refrain from creating new plots. This has left people in distress.
According to sources, even though preparations for creating new plots in the JDA were underway as part of the city campaign, the administration suddenly issued verbal orders against issuing plots. As a result, the work on new plots in the JDA has come to a halt, leaving applicants in distress.
However, no satisfactory response has been given regarding why and when the ban has been imposed. JDA officials say that even though JDA Commissioner Jogaram had issued orders to issue plots just a few days ago, all zone commissioners were suddenly instructed to stop issuing new plots. Zone commissioners are also surprised by this move.
Work on plots is underway at the Heritage Municipal Corporation. Recently, Municipal Commissioner Rajendra Singh Shekhawat issued an order to distribute prepared plots. He instructed all zone commissioners through a UO note to issue plots that are either ready or in the final stages of preparation. Although work has started on creating plots, new plots have not yet been issued.
Work on creating plots is ongoing at the Greater Municipal Corporation, but new plots have not been issued yet. Municipal Commissioner Babulal Goyal has sought guidance from the government regarding the issuance of plots, but no direction has been received yet. As a result, the municipal administration is refraining from issuing new plots.
