Loksabha election is around the corner, but before that the politics over the seat sharing has already began. Maharashtra has 48 seats out of which it was earlier decided that BJP will contest on 26 seats. And remaining 22 seats will be distributed equally in rest of the alliance partners in the state which is Shiv Sena shinde and NCP lead by Ajit Pawar. But Post 5 states assembly elections, BJP has gained confidence that guarantee ka doosra naam Modi, which ultimately means it is easier for BJP to contest on more seats in the state and gain more.
In fact, the recent meeting was took place in the mid of December between RSS and BJP State cadre in which it was suggested that BJP will gain more in state assembly elections if they go or contest election by their own then the alliance partner can join hands post polls.
But as far as the Lok Sabha elections are concerned, BJP is in the mood that they will go along with the alliance partners. They will contest election together. There will be proper seat sharing but ultimately the final word for constituency and nomination both will be decided by Bjp.
Now post that this formula of 26 and 22 has started changing now it has reached to Bjp is confident as per their internal survey that Ajit Pawar group can win 4 seats confidently in Lok Sabha, which are Raigarh, Shirur , Baramati and satara. In Raigarh, Ncp has a strong name, which is Sunil Tatkare. In Shirur Ajit Pawar is favourable to give the seat to Amol Kolhe. Who joined Ajit Pawar and then left the party and joined hands with Sharad Pawar once again but he still in the in a state of mind to again come and join hands with Ajit Pawar when it comes to Lok Sabha elections. Here if Amol kolhe comes and contest from the Shirur seat then it is easier for Ajit Pawar to win the seat.
Baramati.. the seat Which is very prestigious for Pawar family. There was a Mummering that Pawar‘s wife Sunita will contest from this particular seat then Ajit Pawar’s son Parth Pawar‘s name also popped up that he could also contest from the same Baramati seat. But if you remember the last defeat of Parth Pawar then if he defeat this time, then constantly two defeats will damage his career, so Ajit Pawar will not take this plunge but to give a possible ticket to Dattatray Bharane. For which BJP is also favourable on his name and as far as the Dhangar vote are concerned, Dattatray could be the perfect name.
Then the another important seat is Satara where Srinivas Patil has won the seat but due to his age criteria, his son Sarang Patil wish to contest this time. But there is a possibility that Ram Raje Naik Nimbalkar will be the face from Ajit Pawar side and if that happened then There is a large possibility that Sharad Pawar may give support for the name of Prithviraj Chavan. Then the fight will be more interesting.
Apart from that Thane, Parabhani and Osmanabad are the three seats where Ajit Pawar is keeping an eye to get it.
Again The Thane is very prestigious constituency from where The chief minister Eknath shinde himself comes. But here Ncp has a good name which is Aanand Paranjpe very popular among the section of people in Thane. But if Bjp deny Kalyan seat to Eknath Shinde, then definitely he would want Thane constituency for his son Shrikant Shinde. Then for Parabhani Rajesh Bhatkar is the name which could gain the set for Ajit Pawar. And Osmanabad Where Ajit Pawar might put his weightage to gain this particular seat. So in total just seven seats out of 11, Ajit Pawar will be given.
When it comes to Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. After the split within Shiv Sena, 13 MPs chosen the leadership of eknath shinde. So certainly as far as the formula of Yuti concerned. Sena is demanding for more seats but according to the sources maximum 10 to 12 seats will be given to Shinde not only this, but Bjp will be having a final word before giving candid name because ultimately they are going to ask vote on the name and for the name of PM Narendra Modi.
Currently Eknath Shinde is struggling to remain Kalyan sit with him from where his son Shrikant Shinde has been elected. But BJP is very adamant that Kalyan seat will remain with Bjp. If that happens then Eknath Shinde needs to fight with Ajit Pawar for Thane seat to be given for his son.
But this the battle for seat .. Just don’t stop over here. Shiv Sena by eknath shinde is also demanding the Jalgaon seat where they have good strength but Bjp has denied that saying it’s BJP seat and will remain with the BJP, in fact, the 13 seats were currently Eknath Shinde having their MPs. It’s difficult to to say that that all will remain with Shinde because here again Bjp is in the opinion after their internal survey that to give Shinde only 10 to 12 seats.
