As per discussions held during the Winter Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, a four-member committee has been constituted to investigate the matter regarding sexual harassment by the then Principal of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Uchana Mandi (Jind). It was decided by the House that a fact-finding committee under the Chairmanship of School Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal was constituted to investigate the said matter, for the period from 2005 to 2023 of all incidents mentioned/discussed in the House in its sittings on December 15 and 18, 2023. The Committee will submit its report in the first meeting of the next Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. The Committee Members include MLAs Aseem Goel, Sh. Bharat Bhushan Batra, Amarjeet Dhanda.
