The extensive awareness campaign under the ‘Mission Foundation’ and ‘Super-100 Program’ will witness district-level seminars conducted across Haryana. These seminars aim to promote and propagate the reach of these programs throughout the state.
The ‘Foundation Program’ initiated by the Department of School Education and the Haryana government through the Vikalp Foundation is designed to empower and train students in government schools. It seeks to enhance students’ interest in science and instill a scientific perspective. The program also serves as an aid for students who have passed the 8th grade from government schools in Kaithal and then cleared the 10th grade from a government school for the ‘Super-100 Program.’ Nodal officer Anil Tanwar, along with the district science specialist, highlighted that the Haryana School Education Department collaborated with the Vikalp Institution to commence the ‘Super-100’ scheme in 2018. Presently, in Kaithal district, government high schools like Rajkiya Madhyamik Sanskriti Vidyalaya Pundri, Cheeka, Rajound, Kalayat, Ghyong, and DIET Kaithal are hosting the ‘Foundation Centers,’ where 9th and 10th-grade students receive education through live and recorded lectures broadcasted by the Vikalp Institution.
