PM Modi unveils world’s largest meditation centre: Swarved Mahamandir

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday inaugurated the world’s largest meditation centre Swarved Mahamandir in Varanasi.
Following the inauguration, he along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a tour of the centre that can seat 20,000 people at a time for meditation.
Verses of the Swarveda have been carved upon the walls of the Mahamandir — a seven-floor superstructure.
The Swarved Mahamandir, a remarkable architectural marvel, rises seven floors high and accommodates 20,000 devotees. Adorned with intricate marble carvings and majestic lotus-shaped domes, it beautifully fuses the city’s cultural heritage with modern design elements.
During the event on Sunday, the prime minister urged attendees from Tamil Nadu to utilize earphones, introducing AI technology for the first time to enhance their listening experience.
PM Modi expressed optimism that artificial intelligence would facilitate better communication with the public. He shared, “This was my initial encounter. Going forward, I’ll utilize it, and your feedback will be essential. As usual, I speak in Hindi, and AI will translate it into Tamil.”
The prime minister highlighted, “Travelling from Tamil Nadu to Kashi is like moving from one abode of Mahadev to His other home. It’s a transition from the realm of Madurai Meenakshi to the abode of Kashi Vishalakshi.”
“So, the love and bond that exist in the hearts of the people of Tamil Nadu and Kashi is different and unique. I am sure, the people of Kashi will leave no stone unturned in serving you all. When you leave, along with the blessings of Baba Vishwanath, you will also take with you the taste, culture and memories of Kashi,” Modi said.
