Haryana Roadways Workers Union has issued a warning of staging a protest and encircling the Chief Minister’s camp office in Karnal on December 24 against the government’s policies. The depot executive committee meeting of Haryana Roadways Workers Union, affiliated with the All Employees Union, was chaired by Depot Head Naresh Kumar Sivach at the union headquarters.
The meeting was conducted by State Vice President and Depot Secretary Jaykumar Dahiya. Regional Secretary Sumer Sivach, Office Secretary Satbeer Mundhal, District Secretary Manjeet Panchal, and District Treasurer Joginder Dalal were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the union representatives discussed their concerns about the government’s policies affecting the workers and the proposed privatization of road transport. They expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s decision and emphasized the adverse impact it would have on the employees. In response to these concerns, the union announced plans to organize a massive demonstration and encirclement of the Chief Minister’s camp office in Karnal on December 24.
The union aims to make a strong statement against the policies they believe are detrimental to the welfare of roadways workers.
