The parties that were hindering the construction of Ram Mandir are now hoping to be invited to the inauguration of Ram Janambhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, said Rajyasabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi on the concluding day of India News Manch 2023, organised by ITV Network.
Speaking on DMK’s gomutra row, Trivedi said, for them, cow is not an issue, but by commenting on it, they want to destroy the cultural prosperity of this nation. The cow’s urine has been patent in the U.S. for its medicinal values; its dung is used in organic manure, added Trivedi.
Commenting on the INDIA bloc, he said the alliance is nowhere to be found on the ground going north-south-east-west. In J&K, there is already a Gupkar alliance; in Punjab, AAP and Congress leaders are saying there is no alliance; in U.P., Congress has no mandate while S.P. is also commenting on Congress; in Tamil Nadu, they are already in alliance with DMK; in Kerala, there are differences between communists and Congress; in Bengal too, TMC is speaking against Congress; and in the North Eastern states, they really do not have any alliance. It is the dynasty parties who are part of this alliance; when Congress was in power, they were with the NDA, and after we came to power, they were with Congress. They simply want to keep their power centred on family members. While PM Modi thinks about the next 100 years, the alliance partners only think of elections, which happen every fifth year.
Speaking on the newly announced Chief Ministers, Trivedi said the BJP believes in developing new leadership and the participation of youths in developing nations, while the Congress has reduced itself to being a Gandhi family-centred party. We are not a people-centred party; this is the biggest difference between them and us. We have big names like PM Modi and HM Amit Shah, and the list is long, while the appointment of new CM faces in these states shows that we have bench strength too.In another session, Baijayant Panda, former Rajya Sabha MP, also commented on this by saying that we see PM Modi touching the feet of veteran leaders such as Advani and Joshi on their birthdays, while this culture is not seen in Congress.
