After the BJP swept the three states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, Union Minster Jyotiraditya Scindia, speaking at India News Manch, a three-day event organised by ITV Network, said PM Modi’s visionary leadership and welfare schemes are the reasons voters have trusted the BJP in all these states. For example, the Kisan Samman Nidhi of the Centre and with additions from the state government totalling Rs 12,000, has made the farmers of Madhya Pradesh trust us, while the Ladli Behna scheme’s popularity has helped us achieve this mandate.
On speaking about the appointment of a new CM in Madhya Pradesh, he said, my family never ran after power or position, but we are for the welfare of people. Changes should not be exceptional but mandatory, and this helps in developing new leadership. While my name for CM was being propagated, I was busy doing the pending work in my office, which was disturbed because of the election campaign, added Scindia.
On speaking about Civil Aviation Ministry, he said the number of airports was 74 in the 65-year-long rule of other governments’, but in the previous nine years the number has increased to 149, and in the coming five years, the number is going to touch 200. In October-November next year, the new airports in Mavi Mumbai and Jewar will be operational, making both cities included in the list of cities having two airports after Goa, and by 2023, this list will have the addition of multiple cities. He also said that by next year, flights to Ayodhya will be operational, making it convenient for the devotees going for darshan at Ram Mandir. Speaking about PM Modi, Scindia said the country is fortunate to have such a visionary leader. The country has gotten such leadership after a very long time, and his only aim is to make India Vishwaguru. He has dedicated his life to Maa Bharti and not only launches schemes but ensures that the benefit of such schemes reaches the last man.
