India News Manch 2023: Akhilesh Yadav asserts, the public aspires for change

Today, Samajwadi Party’s President Akhilesh Yadav was present at the India News Manch program.

While participating in the program, the SP chief said about the elections in five states, “The public is voting for change. In this election, the BJP is most concerned because the public wants change.”

Attacking the BJP, he mentioned that whenever the country faced a crisis, the BJP used various things to mislead the public, such as clanging plates or lighting candles, and now they plan to ring bells using garlanding holdings. The BJP always makes empty promises. Now, the vote will be for change.

He said, “Our fight is to defeat the BJP… In the last ten years, unemployment has reached a level that has never been seen before.”

Akhilesh Yadav commented on women voters, stating that the BJP is doing one thing in their propaganda and something else in reality. He pointed out that in Madhya Pradesh, they removed the brother of the ‘Ladli Behan’ (beloved sister), and it is clear what that implies. MP is behind in terms of schemes compared to other states, and Rajasthan is also lagging behind. He mentioned that women in Uttar Pradesh are also facing difficulties.

Regarding women’s reservation, he stated that he and the Samajwadi Party were not against leaders and SP opposing women. However, he expressed a desire for improvements in it. Until there is separate reservation for Dalit and Muslim women, they will not support it.
