In Zirakpur, a person returning home from duty on a motorcycle with a Haryana registration motorcycle rider lost his life in the collision. On the other hand, based on a complaint from the deceased’s relatives, the police have registered a case against the unidentified driver of the Punjab-registered motorcycle for careless driving. The deceased has been identified as Jarnail Singh, a resident of Raipurani, Haryana, and after conducting a post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family. Confirming the incident, SHO Simarjeet Singh Shergill stated that Jarnail Singh, after completing his duty on December 6, was returning home around 10 PM on Airport Road. When he reached near Pahlwan Dhaba on Airport Road, he collided with a Punjab-registered motorcycle, causing Jarnail Singh’s balance to be disrupted, and he collided with a roadside pole. In critical condition, Jarnail Singh was admitted to the local civil hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Following the incident, the police registered a case against the unidentified driver of the Punjab-registered motorcycle for careless driving, and an investigation has been initiated to locate the accused.
