On the 67th Death Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a blood donation camp was organized at Kanshi Bhawan in Sector-7. Approximately 140 donors registered, out of which 101 were selected for donation. The Red Cross team, led by Dr. Veerendra Bharti, provided services at the event. Floral tributes were offered at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s portrait in remembrance.
Trust’s authorities Rishi Pal, President Nisha Burak, Chairman Ramesh Kumar, Secretary Balvinder Singh, Vice Presidents Omdutt and Hukamchand inaugurated the event. Nisha Burak and Rishi Pal stated that the trust organized the event to honor Dr. Ambedkar. Manohar Lal, Pradeep Kumar, Tarsem, Ashwani Burak, Jarnail Singh, Amit Kumar, Kaler Singh, Nasib Singh, Suresh, Dr. Sanjay Dhaniya, and Devendra Noonwal contributed to the occasion.
A 21-year-old donor, Shivani, emphasized the importance of consistent blood donations, stating it was her second donation after her first last year. Sanjay Kumar highlighted that blood donation is a crucial responsibility as it can save lives.
