A formal complaint has been logged by supreme court advocate Vineet Jindal against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi accusing him for making derogatory, provocative, offensive remarks for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his Complaint filed with the Delhi Police Commissioner, Jindal has alleged that the intention behind Rahul Gandhi’s statement was to create disharmony and unrest among the people to gain political benefits.

Vineet Jindal said “ This is a complaint against Rahul Gandhi, MP Lok Sabha, leader of the congress for making a derogatory statement during his election campaign in Rajasthan, against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

“The way this reference has been made amongst the people during the election campaign is provocative and intended to develop hostility among the public by portraying PM Modi to be responsible for the loss of the world cup match. It is a matter of great shame that a public representative has used such insolent and offensive words for a person who holds one of the highest positions among the representatives of the people of India,” he said.

He further added that “Such negative and irrational statements made by influential political leaders especially during the election campaign and against the duly elected
government official are an attempt to gain political gain.”

The complaint seeks appropriate action against Rahul Gandhi for his alleged action which according to him an offence under sections 121,153A,500,505,34 IPC.
