BJP releases the third list of 35 candidates for the Telangana assembly elections

A list of 35 candidates for the upcoming Telangana Legislative Assembly was released by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday. The list was made public following a meeting of the BJP’s Central Election Committee on Wednesday at the Delhi headquarters of the party to finalize the names of the party’s remaining candidates for the Telangana and Rajasthan assembly elections.

The meeting was attended by PM Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and all other members of the Central Election Committee of the BJP.
BJP third list for Telangana assembly elections
According to the list, the BJP has fielded Lankala Deepak Reddy from the Jubilee Hills assembly seat. Deepak Reddy will face Congress Party candidate and former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin here.

Three ST candidates and five SC candidates are also included on the list. In Telangana, which is ruled by the BRS and where the Congress is hoping to make a comeback, the BJP is trying to get back on track. Three MPs from the party are running in the Telangana elections. This month, five states will be holding elections, including Telangana. In the state, voting will take place on November 30 and votes will be counted on December 3.
