In a significant political development in Haryana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Naib Saini as the state party president. Naib Saini, who also serves as the Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra, has been given this crucial responsibility ahead of the state’s upcoming assembly elections and the 2024 general elections.
This decision comes as the BJP is gearing up for important electoral battles, and the party seems to be strategising for a strong presence in both state and national politics. Simultaneously, the current BJP state president, OP Dhankhar, has been designated as the national secretary of the party, indicating an organisational reshuffle within the party in Haryana.
After assuming his role as the state party president, Naib Saini held discussions with Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Chandigarh. CM Khattar warmly welcomed him, offering congratulations and best wishes for his new responsibilities.
During an exclusive interview with India News Haryana, Naib Saini expressed his gratitude to BJP’s national president, JP Nadda, for entrusting him with this important task. He emphasised the party’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities, especially in light of the upcoming elections.
Naib Saini also discussed the state’s development and the positive impact of various initiatives by the central and state governments on the people of Haryana. He pledged to strengthen the BJP’s organisational structure further, incorporating new members and fostering better coordination within the party. Additionally, he criticised the Congress party, stating that it lacks concrete issues and primarily indulges in spreading false narratives.
