As part of his two-day visit to the state, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and his spouse, Sudesh Dhankhar, arrived at Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand on Friday. The governor of Uttarakhand, Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh, the district magistrate of Rudraprayag, Saurabh Geharwar, SDM Veer Singh Budiyal, and the chief of the Rudraprayag Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Mahaveer Panwar, among others, gave the vice president and his wife a hearty welcome upon their arrival. At the well-known Kedarnath Temple, the Vice President and his spouse are scheduled to perform “Rudrabhishek” and offer prayers.
