In the Sikar district of Rajasthan, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable lost his life when his service rifle “accidentally” blew up inside a car, according to police on Tuesday. The incident happened in the Fatehpur area, and Devilal, a resident of Chanana village in the Jhunjhunu district, was identified as the deceased CISF personnel. The constable was taken by other CISF officers to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel pronounced him deceased.

Sikar Superintendant of Police Paris Deshmukh told mediapersons, “We received information this morning that a CISF constable in Fatehpur was killed in a firing incident.”
“Further details will become clear only after an investigation,” he added.
Primafacie it appears that the CISF constable rifle’s trigger got pressed by accident, police said.
