On Thursday, the ‘Desert Soul’ program was organised, in which popular singer Ravindra Upadhyay shared his musical journey. ‘Desert Soul’ is an initiative of Rajasthan Forum, dedicated by Shree Cement as their CSR initiative. The hospitality partner of this series is ITC Rajputana. The event was attended by many dignitaries including, Rajasthan Cricket Association President Vaibhav Gehlot and Rajasthan Forum members Gulabo and Shakir Ali.
Rajasthan Forum’s Executive Secretary Apara Kuchhal interviewed singer Ravindra Upadhyay. During the conversation, Ravindra Upadhyay shared his experience of singing on different platforms and in several languages. He also introduced the audience to his musical journey. He addressed his fans and talked about how he makes efforts to promote Rajasthani culture. He said, “I sing a Rajasthani song in every performance or show, even if it is not in Rajasthan.” He also encouraged the young musicians to keep their passion intact and focus on their studies.
