MoU to be signed to bring ‘wagh nakh’ to India for 3 years

MoU to be signed to bring ‘wagh nakh’ to India for 3 years

The MoU will be signed between Victoria and Albert museum’s director Tristram Hunt and Maharashtra government for bringing back the ‘wagh nakh’ from London to India for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation anniversary.
Maharashtra government already initiated the paperwork in February this year. As per the agreement the tiger claws will remain in Maharashtra for next three years from November 16, 2023 to November 16, 2026. On the occasion of Shiv Pratap Day which is a very auspicious day these tiger claws will come to Maharashtra.
On the very next day on November 17, 2023 till August 24, 2024 they will remain in Satara in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum. Then in Nagpur Central Museum till April 2 2025. Then till November 2025, they will remain in Kolhapur Laxmi Palace Museum.  From November 2025 to November 2026, they will come to Mumbai‘s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum and then as per the agreement they will go back to London.
