Jaipur’s Shade Festival creates an enchanting atmosphere

Ganesh Chaturthi, a nationwide festival, is being celebrated with great enthusiasm. In Jaipur, temples like Moti Dungari Ganesh Temple, Nehar Ke Ganesh Ji, and Gad Ganesh, among others, are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with fervour. On September 19, the city witnessed the morning aarti for Lord Ganesh at 4 AM. Different arrangements have been made for men, women, and families to visit Moti Dungari. This year, even with a large crowd, there have been changes in traffic management by the Traffic Police.
In Jaipur, near the Moti Dungari Ganesh Temple, an annual two-day fair is held. This fair will start on September 19 and end on September 20. Until the conclusion of this fair, vehicular entry will be restricted on various routes from Trimurti Circle to JDA Chauraha, R.B.I. Tiraha to Ganesh Temple via Takhteshahi Road, Dharm Singh Circle to Ganesh Temple, and diversions have been set up as needed.
Considering the crowd of devotees, police have been deployed all around the temples in the city. Additionally, to ensure that the crowd remains under control, barricades have been set up at Moti Dungari. The crowd will also be monitored directly from the control room, and AI technology cameras have been installed to upload data of any wrongdoers on the app.
During the ten-day celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, various events will continue in the city. On Wednesday, September 20, a grand procession, called Shobha Yatra, will be taken out from the Shri Ganesh Temple in Moti Dungari. This procession will pass through Moti Dungari Road, Johari Bazaar, Badi Chaupar, Tripolia Bazaar, Chhoti Chaupar, Gangauri Bazaar, and reach Gad Ganesh Temple.
