The inauguration of the new Congress State building will take place on September 23 in Jaipur, with the presence of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and former National President Rahul Gandhi. The Congress party has invited leaders from within the organization for this event rather than the general public. Over 60,000 Congress leaders from various levels within the party have been invited to the program. During this event, identity cards will also be distributed to the invited leaders.
Ahead of the inauguration, PCC President Govind Singh Dotasara held meetings with regional coordinators, district coordinators, and district presidents at the PCC headquarters on Monday. Each official was given separate responsibilities and targets.
Dotasara assessed the venue of the event and compared it to the gatherings organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that Modi has held five different rallies in Rajasthan so far. However, he emphasized that the crowd at any of Modi’s rallies was not as significant as the audience at the events of Rahul Gandhi in Managarh, Mallikarjun Kharge in Bhilwara, and Priyanka Gandhi in Niwai. Dotasara also compared the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra (Transformation March) to a Ram Leela performance, suggesting that while the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra has fewer attendees, it resembles a theatrical event more than an election campaign.
