The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued a cash reward of Rs 3 lakh for each of the four wanted individuals linked to the ISIS Pune module case. An official statement confirmed this incentive for providing vital information about the fugitives. The individuals in question have been identified as Mohmmed Shahnawaz Shafiuzzama Alam, also known as Abdulla, Rizwan Abdul Haji Ali, Abdulla Faiyaz Shaikh, alias Diaperwala, and Talha Liyakat Khan.
The NIA, currently leading the investigation into this case, has assured informants that their identities will remain confidential. The agency has been actively pursuing leads and taking stringent measures to apprehend those involved in this alarming case.
The NIA’s recent actions included the arrest of several individuals believed to have played a significant role in promoting ISIS activities within a module operating in Pune, Maharashtra.
In connection with the Pune ISIS module case, the NIA conducted extensive raids that resulted in the confiscation of substantial incriminating evidence. This evidence illuminated the banned terrorist organization’s sinister plot to disrupt peace and communal harmony within the country. A senior official previously commented on the case, highlighting the agency’s commitment to uncovering the truth.
Last month, Shamil Saquib Nachan was apprehended by the NIA in connection with this case. Subsequent searches at his residence in Thane district yielded additional incriminating material. The material discovered provided crucial insights into his and other accomplices’ conspiracy to spread terror and instigate disruptions in the country.
According to the NIA, Nachan was collaborating with five other arrested suspects, namely Zulfikar Ali Barodawala, Mohammed Imran Khan, Mohammed Yunus Saki, Simab Nasiruddin Kazi, and Abdul Kadir Pathan. Together with other yet-to-be-identified suspects, they were part of a larger conspiracy aimed at inciting violence across the nation through the fabrication and deployment of improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The NIA has categorically stated that all the accused individuals were members of the ISIS sleeper cell. In a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that Nachan and his associates had assembled IEDs at a residence in Kondhwa, Pune. Additionally, they had organized and participated in a bomb assembly and training workshop
last year.
