Former PMs Manmohan Singh and HD Deve Gowda invited to the G20 dinner

The national capital is magnificently decorated for the September 9–10 G20 Summit. International Diginatories have begun to arrive in Delhi to take part in the massive event. Some of the nation’s former top leaders will attend the G20 Summit dinner in addition to the foreign delegates, lawmakers, and ministers in the current Cabinet.

Key world leaders who will attend the event in the nation’s capital include US Vice President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Notably, neither Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the weekend summit. However, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will represent Russia, and Chinese Premier Li Qiang will represent China at the summit.

This is the first time that the G20 Summit is being hosted by India. Extensive preparations have been underway to portray India’s tradition and strength.
The countries taking part in the G20 Summit include Nigeria, Argentina, Italy, the AU (represented by Comros), and South Africa. Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Japan Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Korea, Egypt, Australia, the United States, Canada, China, the U.A.E., Brazil, Indonesia, Turkey Spain, Germany, France, Mexico, the European Union, Singapore.
