Regarding the pitch at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Mpofu noted, “The surface at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium favours batsmen, with some initial assistance for seamers. With limited support for bowlers, dismissing set batsmen could prove to be a daunting task.
