In an unfortunate incident, journalist Mohan Joshi from Bhushawar was attacked, and he received threats of his life due to an ongoing personal dispute. So far, no arrests have been made in the case, and there is growing frustration among journalists towards the police.
Mohan Joshi, a resident of Bhushawar and a journalist, filed a complaint against three individuals from Kaswa for blocking his path, assaulting him with sticks, and threatening him with fatal consequences due to an old personal dispute. Various charges are against the accused.
According to Rajasthan Patrika journalist Mohan Joshi from Bhushawar, Mohan Lal, the son of Bhallachand Joshi, who is the President of the Kaswa Resident Journalists’ Association, has reported that they were returning home after purchasing goods from the vegetable market. At the same time, in the grain market, Mohan Joshi was confronted by Parshuram Tulsi Khem Chand Mali, who was involved in an old personal dispute with him. The accused surrounded Mohan Joshi, struck him with iron rods, and began verbally abusing him. When he resisted, they grabbed Mohan Joshi’s collar and threatened to shoot him. Bhushawar police have registered various charges against the accused on the complaint of Mohan Joshi.
The Bhushawar police are currently investigating the case. Meanwhile, Former President of the Lohagad Press Club and Secretary of the Rajasthan Journalists’ Association, Hardev Kataria, has strongly criticized the attack on journalist Mohan Joshi in Bhushawar.
