SRK upcoming film Jawan collects 2 cr before its release

The upcoming Shah Rukh Khan film «Jawan» has already collected 2 crore in advance bookings in the United States, even before the trailer launch. The film, directed by Atlee Arun Kumar and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment, is set to release on September 7, 2023.
This early success is a positive sign for the film, which has been highly anticipated by fans. In the movie «Jawan,» Nayanthara plays the role of a cop, while Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance. Jawan will be released in three languages: Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The music has been composed by Aniruddha Ravichander, who has created a special anthem for the film, «King Khan,» which was hinted at in the movie’s prevue.
The trailer for «Jawan» is expected to release in a few weeks, which will likely increase the hype and anticipation even more. The film has earned close to ₹2 crore in advance bookings across 450 locations in the USA. The total number of tickets sold stood at 13,750. While advance booking for Jawan began 20 days ahead of the film’s release in the USA, it has yet to begin in India. A few other centres have also started advance booking for the film. The film is generating tremendous buzz among his fans. Shah Rukh Khan’s last film, Pathaan, made ₹15 crore in opening collections in North America when it was released earlier this year. Trade experts believe Jawan will surpass Pathaan records, at least for the opening day. Fans soon started a Reddit thread, commenting and speculating around the post. One of them wrote, I can’t wait for the Jawan trailer.”
