Will talk about it at right time: TDP chief amid rumours of rejoining NDA

Amidst rumours of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) rejoining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Chandrababu Naidu, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and TDP President, has indicated that he will address the matter at the opportune moment.
When queried about the prospect of TDP’s NDA membership, Naidu responded, “The timing isn’t suitable currently.”
He emphasized, “Discussing NDA affiliation isn’t appropriate at this juncture; I will broach the topic at the appropriate time.”
A pivotal figure in the NDA’s formation, TDP, led by Chandrababu Naidu, had departed from the alliance in protest against the Centre’s denial of special status to Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu affirmed his definitive role in the upcoming 2024 national political landscape.
Highlighting his foremost commitment to Andhra Pradesh, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu outlined his significant agenda for the state’s restoration and revitalization.
In response to the Amaravati capital matter, Naidu questioned the actions of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating, “You are situated in the assembly. You work from the secretariat. Yet, where are your cabinet meetings being held? Is this a temporary arrangement? Jagan Mohan Reddy’s statements lack substance. Over the past decade, operations were seamless. All preparations were completed. We meticulously devised a world-class capital for Andhra Pradesh. Similarly, we systematically crafted one of Hyderabad’s finest ecosystems for nine years.”
It’s noteworthy that the formerly unified Andhra Pradesh was divided into Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in June 2014. Under the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act, Hyderabad was designated as Telangana’s capital, necessitating Andhra Pradesh to establish a new capital within a decade. During this transition, Hyderabad would function as the shared capital for both states.
In a significant move this year, Jagan Mohan Reddy declared Visakhapatnam as the capital, a decision not formally addressed in state assembly deliberations or official records.
Subsequently, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led administration formulated a strategy to establish three capitals across different cities within the state, aimed at fostering comprehensive development.
