A group of artists from Kolkata, specializing in clay modeling, is teaching fellow artists in Coventry, UK through online video classes. The aim is to raise awareness about climate change and promote the use of natural earth for creating art, discouraging the usage of chemicals and plastics. They’ve constructed a significant installation made of grass, earthen pots, and paddy grass. Kumartuli in North Kolkata, traditionally known for crafting Durga idols, has now linked with a UK city to share this artistic endeavor.
